We’ll celebrate the UU principle of the interconnected web of existence, and the great expanses of the earth and our encounters with them. We’ll go afar and back in time, but mostly explore the sweeping natural beauty and diversity of the United States, by circling from Florida to Alaska and back to the Colorado Plateau, with stops in between. Beacon members have also shared their memorable wanderings. Thoreau reminds us, “In wildness is the preservation of the world,” and from Hinduism we learn about a complex pantheon of belief, deities, and spiritual practice that converge on the worldview that everything is sacred. Join worship associates Cassie Dakan and Nancy Paxton, accompanist Pete Garcia, and the Beacon choir for some armchair travel, an uplifting service, and inspiration to keep exploring.
