On May 5, after the service, we will have a ceremonial ground-breaking for the building project. Rev Kevin will also have a short ceremony to honor the space and the trees before the digging begins.

We have contracts signed and permits in hand, and the contract start date is May 1, with a tentative construction start on May 6. Next Monday, April 29, we will be meeting with Loven Contracting and Steve Dorsett, our architect, for a pre-construction meeting. They will be providing us with a schedule, and will be taking over the lead on the project, so Carl and Theresa can take a backseat and become project monitors.
