In keeping with our theme of “A Light in the Darkness” for the whole season, we will be exploring the Winter Solstice this Sunday. Observed and celebrated since prehistoric times, what meanings and lessons have people drawn from the cycle of the year, and the solstice? And what might we still find in that cycle, and the return of the sun, and the light? With Rev. Patrick McLaughlin preaching, Worship Associate Skip Brimlow, and music by the Beacon Choir under the direction of Michael Minear.
