“Looking Forward — With Open Eyes”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

Paying Attention is our theme for the month, and given all that’s going on at Beacon and in the nation and the world, we’re going to consider where we’re going and what this community can and should do in response. With Rev. Patrick McLaughlin preaching, Worship Associate Pia Driessen Knittle, and with music under the direction of Michael Minear with accompaniment by Pete Garcia.

UUA SHARED VALUES DISCUSSION (Between Services)

Meet in the Sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. with Cassie Dakan.

A few of us were asked by the Board to look at the UUA’s Shared Values (previously the Seven Principles) approved in 2024, and to set Beacon on the path to discussing and adopting this set of values. To date we have not officially done so. This Sunday begins the conversation with the congregation and it will likely be a thoughtful one as we consider together the change, the new wording, and what these values mean to us personally, collectively, and in action. If you are new to Beacon this will be a great chance to dive deeper into UUism. All welcome. Please join the conversation.
