As we (in the Northern hemisphere) move towards the darkness of the year, we find a wide and diverse range of holidays celebrating — in a variety of ways — hope and abundance, already looking towards a new year, good luck, fortune, and abundance.

This year Diwali is the first of these holidays. We will note that holiday from the Indian subcontinent (celebrated by several faiths) and kick off our larger holiday theme of “A Light in the Darkness.”  Come, learn, and celebrate with us!
