Julian of Norwich was a Christian mystic in the Middle Ages. She wrote a book called Revelations of Divine Love. It is the earliest surviving English-language work by a woman. We will hear about Julian of Norwich from Dr. Julia Bolton Holloway, who is European Professor Emerita of Medieval Studies at the University of Colorado – Boulder. Julia lives in a gatehouse in the English Cemetery in Florence, Italy, and she will be coming to us on Zoom. Julia restores the cemetery and helps the Roma, who are the gypsies in Italy. Julia will share her expertise about the mystical life of Julian of Norwich.  With Worship Associate Nancy Shaffer and music under the direction of Michael Minear with accompaniment by Pete Garcia.
