“Tending Each Other’s Needs”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

In our families, congregation, community, and society, we all tend each other’s needs (and have ours tended) in various ways. Today we’ll tend the needs of some local school children and talk about how we root our actions in our deepest values; how our models do and don’t really serve our needs, and how we might do better — using nature as a model. With Rev. Patrick McLaughlin preaching, Worship Associate Skip Brimlow, and musical accompaniment by Eli Diemert.

Please be sure to bring donations for the School Supplies drive for Puente De Hohzo and Killip Elementary School and to stay after the service for the Back-to-School Ice Cream Social.

To watch our live services remotely, you’ll first need to download the Zoom app if you don’t already have it on your computer or smart phone. You can watch the church service just by entering the Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode into the Zoom app. The Meeting ID and Passcode will be disseminated through the Beacon Google Group’s emails. You can use the same Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode each week. If you are not already part of the Beacon Google Group, an additional way to be part of the Beacon community, please email office@beaconuu.com.
