We are so sorry to have to cancel our Christmas Eve service tonight at 5:30 PM. We feel that the weather conditions now and after the service concludes are too dangerous to risk the safety of congregants and visitors.
If you had cookies for the refreshments after the service, please freeze them and bring them on Sunday, January 2.
We will reschedule this service (with some adaptations) for Sunday, January 2nd. This will remind us that the spirit of the holidays endures beyond December 25th.
If you know people who need to receive a phone call about this cancellation, please call them.
An alternative Christmas Eve service is being offered by the UU Church in Phoenix. It sounds splendid. The links are below.
Online: 7:00pm MST Pre-Service Music: 6:30pm MST
Led by: Rev. Christine Dance Worship Associate: Mary McManus
Join us for our traditional Christmas Eve service via Zoom where we will explore the role of Mary—the feminine side of the Christmas Story. A small orchestra of UUCP folks will play Corelli’s six-movement Christmas Concerto. Let us join together in the search for hope, joy, and peace on earth. Zoom link to service on the weblink below:

My closing words tonight:
Fall, snow
Dream, night
Shine, tree
Fire, be bright.
Carolers, sing
Bells, chime
Heart, remember
Christmastime.
Peace, prevail
World, rest
You, friends
Be Blest. Be blest.
We are Beacon, Always Connected
Wishing you peace, joy and health today and into the New year.
Warmly,
Rev. Robin
