BURNING BOWL CEREMONY “Moving Mindfully into the New Year:  A Ritual for Change and Growth”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

The approach of a new year is traditionally a time that invites us to both review the past and look ahead to the future.  The UU custom, commonly known as the “Burning Bowl Ceremony,” offers the opportunity to pause. In that pause, that quiet space of reflection, we give ourselves the gift of releasing and letting go what no longer serves us. And, as we move into the New Year, to consider what positive intentions we want to embrace. We gather as a spiritual community to experience this transformative process for ourselves and each other. Your worship team includes Worship Associates Cheryl Austin and Kim Angelo. Simon Cunningham will provide meditative, relaxing accompaniment, and Kim will share with us a beautiful hymn. Please join us on December 31st at 10 a.m.!
