Have you ever wondered what the best way is to ally yourself with members of the transgender communities? This service will explore the basics of understanding who trans people are and ways to join with them that are not offensive. Dr. lore dickey is an international expert on trans issues. He will share his own personal experience as a member of the trans community. We will be joined by Rebecca Osier from Flagstaff One-in-Ten. There will be an optional discussion of trans issues after the service. You will laugh and you may even cry. You will certainly leave with a better understanding of this marginalized community.  Musical interludes will be provided by accompanist Pete Garcia, and hymns will be led by music director Andrew Schroeder.
