“The Stories of Hanukkah”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

We continue with our larger theme of a light in the darkness this Sunday. We will explore the history and the stories around the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah — the Festival of Lights. Why does this “minor holiday” get so much attention today? Where does it come from? And why is it significant to all of us — what can we, Jewish and not, learn from it? With Rev. Patrick McLaughlin preaching, Worship Associate Linda Ochi, and the Beacon Choir under the direction of Michael Minear with accompaniment by Pete Garcia.
