This Sunday, MAY 26, we will meet at the Flagstaff Community Labyrinth.
This is a service that we traditionally hold during Memorial Day Weekend.
Families are welcome to participate together, or, parents can drop off the children at the sawmill park playground with childcare providers and experience the labyrinth alone.
Typically, folks arrive between 10 and 11, walk the labyrinth at their own pace, and leave when they are done.
What can you do at home this week?
- Can’t make it on Sunday or want to show the kids what a labyrinth looks like? Check out this virtual labyrinth walk! I already feel more relaxed!
- How about making an easy labyrinth of your own? Here are some excellent suggestions from the Labyrinth Society.
- In this blog, Zamirah offers some great suggestions about how to introduce the labyrinth to children.
- The UU curriculum, Tapestry of Faith, provides this lovely explanation and follow up question ideas if you do choose to walk the labyrinth with your children.
Let me know if I can be supportive to you in any other way! I am here for you.
All my best with blessings,
Amy
