Family resources for Sunday September 9

Story: September 9th at sundown marks the beginning of Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish celebration of the ten high holy days.  We will read When the Chickens Went on Strike, by Erica Silverman.

The details about Sunday morning:

Babies – 4 year olds

  • chalice lighting and joys & concerns

  • Symbolic meanings of Rosh Hashanah food with some samples!
  • Play outside
