THANKSGIVING SERVICE: “Giving Thanks and Letting Go”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

We’re going to have a little different Thanksgiving service this year. Instead of just saying what we are thankful for, we will be sharing something we are thankful for that we are ready to let go of.  COLLABORATIVE SERVICE THIS SUNDAY–Help Wanted Service attendees will have a chance to share something that they are thankful for that they are ready to let go of. Sharing can be as short as just a minute or up to three minutes. Please bring a favorite book, piece of clothing, knick knack, or you can just talk about the item, relationship, or possibly dream of that you are ready to say farewell to. If you bring a physical item, there will be bins to put them in, and then they will be donated to a local thrift store.

With Worship Associates Linda Ochi and Kim Angelo and music under the direction of Simon Cunningham with accompaniment by Pete Garcia. SPECIAL MUSIC will be provided by Kim and Pete.

THANKSGIVING POTLUCK following the service at 11:00 a.m.  Please bring a dish to share if you are able.
