“Roots & Branches: Principles & Values”

ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.

Unitarian Universalism is a non-creedal faith — we don’t all believe the same things, and you don’t have to either. We are a covenantal faith — which means we rest deeply in the promises we have made, and make, to each other and the world. A couple years ago, we significantly changed the covenant that binds our congregations together — moving from 7 Principles (which we still appreciate and refer to) to 6 Values, which we affirm are rooted in Love. Come learn more about those values, and how that change came to be. With Rev. Patrick McLaughlin preaching, Worship Associate Lise Breakey, and with musical accompaniment by Pete Garcia.
