For many of us, the journey to becoming a ‘UU’ is anything but linear. This week, new member Amanda McBroom shares a personal reflection on a path shaped by faith traditions, life experiences, recovery, and the search for belonging. From Presbyterian roots to time in the LDS church, and ultimately to discovering Beacon at the 2024 Pride Parade, her story reflects on how the eight principles and our shared core values can become a spiritual home. With services led by Andy Hogg and music led by Michael Minear, please join us as we celebrate accompanist Pete Garcia on his final Sunday with a special extended musical offering honoring his many contributions and extraordinary musical gifts during his time at Beacon.
