ALL ARE WELCOME! You BELONG at Beacon – Spiritually open and intentionally inclusive since 1958.
Please join us this Sunday for a special service. Each New Year, Unitarian Universalists celebrate the passing of another year and the start of the new with a special ritual known as the Burning Bowl Ceremony. We will be talking about the importance of ritual and sacred space in our life and the importance of change, releasing, and beginning anew with intention, grace, and love. Everyone will have the chance to write down something they are ready to let go of or unburden themselves from and then place it in the burning bowl to let the sacred flame take it away. The Burning Bowl service will be led by Worship Associates Cassie Dakan and Linda Ochi with music under the direction of Michael Minear with accompaniment by Pete Garcia.
