Beacon is a safe and loving place for LGBTQ+ people. J. J. O’Brien, the president of Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) in Sedona, will be sharing their personal story as a non-binary person. Non-binary means choosing not to identify with either a traditionally male or traditionally female gender identity. There will be an informative discussion group after the service. Come and learn more about another way of looking at gender identity. With Worship Associate Andy Hogg and the Beacon Choir under the direction of Michael Minear with accompaniment by Pete Garcia.
